 'My collage work is very much informed by the source material itself. I use old and aged papers of all kinds. The method is direct old-fashioned, cut and paste. I love the restrictions that this creates... the looking for the ‘right’ piece, the use of only hard copy papers, the manipulation by hand and making of marks. The tactility. Often the papers I use are imperfect and worn - with vestiges and markings of a past life. I take these elements and create new narratives... or maybe some formerly unseen thing.'
